We have those SSA RAID-5 partitions since last september in production
for the (AFS) home-directories of our users. One server has 32 4.5 GB
disks which we grouped to three 9+1 RAIDs + 2 hot spares, The other one
has 8 9 GB disks which make one 6+1 RAID and 1 hot spare.
We are very pleased with the performance and reliability.
