we asked Legato this month and from their reply we saw that they
don't even have a clou what we want from them.
Their new answer is consistent with an earlier one :-((
So, I would not expect a solution from them.

PS: We wrote some scripts basically doing a "vos dump" and let
Legato do a backup of these dumps.
