Hello,
last night an error well known from aix3.1/afs3.1 times suddenly
reappeared on one of my customers fileserver.
after an ptf that rebuild the bootimage on the harddisk (bosboot) was
installed and the machine was rebooted, we had a stop at LED551, which
we cured with the well known procedure (replace /sbin/helpers/v3fshelper
with the original aix-v3fshelper, bosboot again and then put the
afs-v3fshelper back again.
I seem to remember, that tech-support at transarc had told me, this problem
was one fixed with afs3.2.
am I wrong, was this just a dumb coincidence, any aix3.2/afs3.2 users
willing to share their experiences?
please help me get rid of the sick feeling in my stomache...
btw the PTF was u403173.
