moving volumes

Hi,

If I understand things correctly, when you have a RO volume on the
same machine and partition as the corresponding RW volume, the space
used up in the same as if it were a backup volume.

My question is, what happens when you move the RW volume to some other
machine and/or partition?  Does the vos move code do all the right things?
