No.
The way to accomplish this is:
vos remove [mach b] [part on b] volume.readonly
---* I recommend a salvage of [mach b] [part b] volume (note: RW volume name) *--
---* at this point to be *sure* that all the inodes are truly gone *--
vos move volume [mach a] [part a] [mach b] [part b]
vos addsite [mach b] [part on b] volume
vos release volume
This should have the desired effect. Note: An RO copy will remain on A. You
of course can "vos remove" this at will.
