Q:WinCVS - how to selected files in multiple dirs?

In WinCVS, commands are executed on the selected files. No problem 
when I want to commit a few files in one directory in one step.
But how can I do it when the files are in several directories? 
Yes, I can do it from the command line, but that's the workaround.
Did I miss the obvious somewhere?
