Hi Alex,

Perhaps the VSS approach would be easier to do and sufficient. They have a
status search, which can be performed on the current directory, with or
without the subfolders, or eventually global. It will search for files, and
then put the files directory and names/status in the file view. You can
select and operate on them. If you decide to walk thru the directories, it
will remember the filter and you can easy filter out the files in particular
directories...

THe other way is to build-in the "Fast Search Modified" option into the
WinCvs (replace the TCL macro by the menu option) and feed the output to a
fileview, or a separate dialog box and let to operate on files that way
(could be also the check-listbox, like VSS when operated from VC or VB when
checki in the files).

There is also nice option to add to be able to operate on the files which
are in the "output" window of WinCvs. I would select the file there and the
it could be read and processed as any other selection - only the source for
the command differs. It would require the full path to be displayed in the
output window, but that's simple modification in the "Fast Search Modified"
macro...

>But you're right, right now it's not possible.

I think it depends on how much you want it. I think it is possible to create
the external app / or even TCL macro which will process the output of fast
search modified and display the selection for operations.

Jerzy
