Tim, I e-mailed the lobbyist for the Education Association. He said that he was in opposition to the bill because it read that it may be used to offset property taxes. I read through the bill and feel that it may be able to be used that way also.
I hope that was not intentional on the part of the legislature. That would take money out of the state and give it to the Feds. --- Lance L.
