Hello, you could compile Cyrus Imap with ./configure --disable-http, this will unset the WITH_DAV C-macro, then recompile and create the setup a new.
Or just run ./configure && make as the http server is disabled by default. Then in theory the dav-files should not be created. The <user>.dav files are sqlite3 databases, you can live with them.
