Hello,

you could compile Cyrus Imap with ./configure --disable-http, this will unset
the WITH_DAV C-macro, then recompile and create the setup a new.

Or just run ./configure && make as the http server is disabled by default.
Then in theory the dav-files should not be created.

The <user>.dav files are sqlite3 databases, you can live with them.

Hi all,

We have completed migrating incrementally from 3.0 to 3.8 in our test
enviroment and here is a question for the list,

There is a some dav* related things created that I assume we do not need
as we do not intend to use the dav*/http features, only a "pure" imap
server.

Example: the <user>.dav files.

Should we live with this or can they be avoided? We are prepared do redo
the enviroment from scratch if necessary.

Thank you,

Per
