It is nice to hear of another netizen who appreciates the Opera browser. It
has been my favorite for over a year. It still has a few quirks but is more
customizable, and, I feel, faster than the big two browsers.

Now you're almost comparing apples to....well....apples... almost. Not to go
on a rampage of rebuke, but, you are comparing two of my least favorite
things about the internet, AOL and Outlook Depress; or any MS product for
that matter.

When you are on the receiving end of random salvos (tens of thousands total
and over 1,000 identical mailbombs on numerous occasions) of mailbombs over
the course of a year or more originating from hacked AOL accounts, that
entity definitely becomes the evil underbelly of the internet. But of
course, that's been my experience, others less easily amused can maintain
whatever level of navet they desire. [No offense meant by that to anyone
personally, it is just a generality regarding people not experiencing the
thrill of being an abject victim of 'net terrorism]

Certainly. But, you don't really have to defend AOL. It is what it is. I
despise it a bunch because I've been adversely affected by it. Others like
it or know no better. There's room for everybody and we all seek or operate
on our own level.
