Yes - thanks  - that is exactly my point! SQL and iMS are both servers in this
context (or any context) and should be given access to dedicated, high
performance, scaleable resources. I also believe that iMS and SQL will co-reside
with no problems or undue competition.

As for putting an Internet service on a SQL machine - so what - it is all about
TCP port/IP control at the final analysis. The only theoretical way with a
properly setup server for a security risk to exist, is if iMS could be exploited
as a trojan to SQL in some way. I just don't see it.

Again - my point exactly!

So - given that IIS/CF has to go on its own machine, and SQL has to go on its
own seperate machine - in a two machine scenario where do you put iMS? To me
it_has_to be with SQL.
