We do it that way, with the list mail being "input handled" immediately by
a data.cfm include then dumped into a db for the scheduler to send. The
only mail that gets sent by the data.cfm include is the one back to the
originator if it is not a moderated List. IE we do a form of Howie's Option 1
We actually send the mail in a loop over cfx_imsmail as we find that almost
always you need to customise every message.
Here in Oz Internet bandwidth costs serious money so we always run with
limiters. That means that the overhead in doing each mail individually does
not worry us :-)
