for those interested : no luck on the : header_X_Mailer="Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1106 inclusion.

i am completely perplexed.  i called AOL and opened a case.  they provided 2 addresses to me to send tests to and they are going to review everything. ...perhaps a solution will develop out of this yet...

at the very least it forces me to learn all the details of email and smtp to the 'nth degree...

one other question : could it be any of my settings at configuration?  during the Post Server install?  ...i am perplexed as to how it would reverse this ims server if there are no MX records for it.  (hopefully, i am using correct terminology...)

thanks again...

It would be:

header_X_Mailer="Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1106"

if i added that, which seems kind of weird to do, would it be like this:

header_X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1106

???

thanks.
