Regardless of how angry you feel about it, Malcolm, the fact is that many congregations in the Church do regard a person's sexual behaviour as relevant to whether or not they will accept that person as a Minister of the Word; and so they do regard it as "their business". This may apply to a heterosexual as to a homosexual person.
