Ahhh, but you're assuming that God has to be prayed to in order to do something.

I wasnt suggesting that at all.

We're in relationship with God, we're not in control of God...

I think this conversation borders on two "heresies"

a) boxes God as not being able to be involved in the world
b) boxes God as the one we can control

Any attempt at saying "God (can't) do something" is a heresy, as much as saying that "God (must) do something."

I think heresy's good in many cases, so I'm not particularly against heresy, but I thought that I'd throw that out there...
