At our evening service last night, we had open prayer for rain. Praying 'as the Spirit leads', - we spent much more time praying for rain as a metaphor for spiritual renewal - we prayed for rain for farmers, suffering much more than us - we may have prayed for those suffering drought in other countries, but I'm not sure, as my hearing is fuzzy - certainly I did - we confessed that we in Sydney take water and much else for granted, as our right, when we shouldn't
