In the area of historical science and religion I would recommend: 1) Arthur Koestler The SleepWalkers. Arkana Penguin.1959.
2) Margaret Wertheim Pythagoras' Trousers. God, Physics & the Gender Wars.1995. Fourth Estate.London. 3) Peter Harrison. The Bible, Protestantism, and the Rise of Natural Science.1998. Cambridge University Press. However, having contributed these suggestions, I don't think any pastor could restrict him/herself to a mere 100 books and expect to deliver the scholarly input required of a minister of religion. - Greg ------------------------------------------------------ - You are subscribed to the mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put in the message body 'unsubscribe insights-l' (ell, not one (1)) See: http://nsw.uca.org.au/insights-l-information.htm ------------------------------------------------------
