I just had the opposite problem, with keystrokes not getting through (probably
just a mechanical problem). Does it happen all the time or just after the
battery got re-charged? On my machine, this showed up by a *very* slow keyboard
and mouse (lasting for about 3-5 minutes). It was fixed by replacing the
battery with a new one, but now seems to reappear.
