Two small setup warnings:
1) Do use a linux directory such as /tmp to gunzip and tar xvf the
imported gui00 through 06 files. DO NOT unpack on a WIN95/98 partition.
Tar cannot make a needed readme/ directory after it has already
unpacked a Readme file on a fat32 partition.
2) The ./Runme aborts if the (unzipped but still tarred) gui0* are
absent from the /tmp directory, even through they have been unpacked
into /tmp subdirectories also.
This is not a deviation from the given directions. Rather trying to save
space in my Inspiron 3000 linux partitions by gunziping in and
untarring from my Win95 partition led to the recognition that the
provided unpacking directions have to be done in a linux partition, or
the ./Runme setup will abort.
Total import file size is about 24 MB
