well actaully... i have thought about it, and there are a lot of linux
mailing lists out there. i dont thing that starting another one would
help, i think that most of the people on this list would subscribe, and
then what? we are in the same place.
like it or not the inspiron-list originally started out as a Dell
Inspiron+Linux mailing list (ie. how torrun linux on this 1 type of
laptop) since then it hs grown from 60 some odd users to (at last count
227), and more of a general laptop/linux list, but the major focus remains
on Dell laptops and linux. on thing to consider may be a inspiron-general
and a inspiron-linux where in general its just about the laptop and
whatever OS, and in linux its about linux and and the inspiron on linux...
i have no problem setting up another list its li8tterally about 4
commands, but i dont wanna do it if no one is interested....s o if ppl
would reply to this msg with comments/question concerns... ill take it
under advisement...
