Clearly you've never had the joy of using NEXTSTEP/Openstep.
All the stability, command-line power, and modern OS features of a
full-fledged Unix, with a GUI that makes all the mainstream windowing systmes
look like CP/M. And this is just the user experience. I won't even get into
the development stuff.
If only Apple were going to release an Intel version of MacOS X Server so
I could run it on my Inspiron. Now that would be something.
