I just tried again on my laptop burner. Figured the burner was the only thinkg
I hadn't changed.

I used UltraISO on Windows again (I haven't had any luck yet finding a linux
machine with a burner. After it burned the disk, I asked it to compute an
MD5SUM by reading back the bits on the disk. It came up with the correct
MD5SUM. So I don't think that the burning process has modified the image. The
disk label is in the image right?

When I tell OBP to boot cdrom, it translates that to '.../cdrom at 1,0:f' Is
the :f correct for a sun4u machine? When I look at the CD in windows I know I
can only see the ISO9660 filsystem on one of the partitions, the boot/root bits
are on some other partition in UFS format right?

I wish I had another computer with Solaris on it to verify the other partitions.
Actually I think I do have Solaris NV_40 x86 in vmware on this PC... I wonder
if I can get it to drive the CD burner... Hmmm...

That's probably it, but I'm still wondering if it means the machien can't talk
to is' CD drive correctly. The last 'Can't open boot device' makes me wonder.
But I've tried 3 different drives on 2 different machines with the same results
so...

Isn't the label in the image? If the label were wrong or corrupt, wouldn't the
MD5Sum change?
