I've not tried this, but a couple of things. First, what exactly are you trying to PXE boot? As in, what do you mean by OpenSolaris? I suspect what you really mean is something like Solaris Express. It would be nice to know exactly what your trying to boot (Flavor and build number). That said, I've seen references on the net about trying to PXE boot clients that don't negotiate block size.
