Hi Karen, Not much of an expert with this sort of thing, but I'm using 2009.06 which does not show 'n x86' in the GRUB menu entries (I think that it did in 2008.11)
I tried to edit the first entry for 'Opensolaris 2009.06' and it displays the following:- kernel$ /platform/i86pc/kernel/$ISADIR/unix module$ /boot/$ISADIR/x86.microroot do I add the '-kdv' with a space between it and the 'unix' on the line starting 'kernel$'? pressing return adds the extra text but I couldn't get it to boot without going back to the main GRUB menu, and then the pc hangs again... I must be doing something wrong. -Steve -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
