In a way, I think so... The first highly detailed game that came to mind was Warhammer 40k...with all graphics effects on high, I was able to produce kick-ass graphics at decent FPS (playable)...
Umm, I just hope Blizz doesn't make it require shader model 3+ because that would suck...a lot...for many people... But if blizz was trying to actually keep their games playable on most systems, I doubt it...but meh maybe majority systems today are shader model 3+ compatible........
