hmm, might i recommend u windows 7? well, vista is not to bad when u know what ure tweaking but even that, windows 7 feels soo much lighter..and i also agreed with Espi, linux can be the best gaming platform (but not much game supported yet under our GMA) as it is the far most lightest OS of all time ^^..also, already post it on ur other thread, u need to uninstall 2 of GMA driver in ur system. try that and tell us..
@ MAD_BEAST, Namige lol, make me laugh..hahaha..well, the forum site below tells us that FPS is nothing to do with ping time.......although it,s for unreal game but it's the same... http://forums.beyondunreal.com/showthread.php?t=105523 it's a fact that fps doesnt cause high ping times, but higher ping times can sometime cause low fps... except w really old system using 56k modem and a voodoo class gpu..that is an example of what namige have said..im not saying he's wrong btw..^^ on a 56k modem,it is understandable, it uses mobo resource so lower fps means higher ping when the modem doesnt capable to send packets at certain rates^^ well , im not a nerd, as those who see me on facebook, lol...makes me kinda a hybrid nerd maybe...^^ cheers ^^ On Mon, Dec 14, 2009 at 8:29 AM, Hero <[email protected]> wrote: > Well, unlike the masses, I loved vista, so I'm gonna see how stable > installing vista ultimate through vlite is.
