Well Intel did make pretty mad hardware virtualization support from the word
go while AMD seemes to have stuttered and failed with it for years gone by
before getting right. Also I would prefer intel over AMD because windows
works perfectly with a intel processor fresh from the box, however with AMD
you have to get patches and stuff to get it to work right, and I'm not even
going mention the problems that AMD dual cores have caused in games over the
years, with gamebryo engine based games in particular. On the other hand AMD
CPU's do have a nice track record of running faster at lower clock rates
which means they also run cooler and use less power, this makes them ideal
for mobile platforms.
