Meh it might not affect performance in the long run but I perfer to have hardware similar to each other (AMD cpu, ati chipset and gfx). Of course AMD and ati go together, but then again intel has graphics cards and cpus also, but then again theres a reason why this group exists... and that same reason is why i'll never consider a gaming laptop that has a intel gfx in it :p
