I just translated it.

So, there is a lot of complaints of gma950's10% more performance lose
on Vista comparing with XP, despite that Vista drains system resource
significantly, another cause is Intel's shitty WDDM driver.

The idea comes from Intel's support page:

http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-023606.htm

Q3: Is Intel providing WDDM drivers for Intel Graphics Media
Accelerator 900 (Intel GMA 900) on Intel 915 Express chipset-based
platforms?

A3: Intel will provide support for WDDM drivers beginning with the
Intel® 945 Express chipset family and beyond. See question 5 below
for a detailed explanation of WDDM support on Intel® 915 Express
chipset-based platforms. However, Windows Vista is supported on the
Intel® 865G, 915G Express desktop chipsets and 852/855GM mobile
chipsets running XPDM (XP Display Driver Model) driver included on the
Windows Vista install media. Windows Vista will install on these
platforms, but advanced features such as Windows Aero will not be
enabled as XPDM drivers do not support Windows AERO.

Using old platform drivers (XPDM), Users would gain back 99%
performance on Vista (However you can not enable aero or support newer
games in trade).

Here are some test reults:

3dmark01
On XP: 5268
Vista drivers: 4400
XP drivers on Vista:5175 (almost the same as on XP)

Warcraft3
menu:
Vista drivers: 47 fps

Xp drivers: 60 fps

dota:
Vista drivers: 34 fps

Xp drivers: 47 fps

See the diffrence.

And my idea is, may Angelic, Mad or other capable modders implement/
plant some codes in XPDM to WDDM to give more performence in Vista/7?
