Sure we have to find a great balance, i find it to be important too. Just saying that some things we would have to losen up, lets say an explosion were to have 300 particles, then it might be good to reduce the quality of them and maybe draw them back to 100 or 50 particles instead, u still see an explosion but at a much less cost.
Also i think the skeleton pirates in Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl still look quite nice, and they are 2003 CGI :) But i get your point but i don't fully agree. -- INTEL 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
