Hmm CoD5, we don't even kno the exact reason why CoD4 doesn't work lol. I predict it has to do with DXT textures, and theres no way to emulate that (cept for 3DA, but that doesn't work either).
My suggestion is to start with a more popular engine (like UE3) because its used with a lot of games, where as the engine for CoD5 I don't think is used anywhere else (the CoD4 engine however is used in some 007 game I believe?) Although idk where to even start with Unreal Engine 3 games to make them support SM2.0, but then again I though I heard that it could support SM2.0, idk On Wed, Mar 3, 2010 at 12:29 AM, gma3100 <[email protected]> wrote: > oops i guess i saw wrongly > weird though > so wat mods are we going to mod first?maybe our first project should > be simple like say hmm cod5??? > > On Mar 3, 11:46 am, "THEfog ." <[email protected]> wrote: >> I was sure that they both used 2.5, cause the first one allowed shaders to >> be downgraded to sm2.0 >> >> THEfog >> >> On 03/03/2010 10:41 AM, "Espionage724" <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> Wait, I thought bioshock and bioshock both used unreal engine 2.5?
