Hey there! First off, I really appreciate the work that's going into making these chipsets viable for gaming. Thanks so much! Anywho, looking around other posts, it seems as though there aren't any modded 965 drivers for Windows XP due to legal issues. In your opinion, would I be better off with the latest Intel drivers and using XP, or would I see better gaming performance if I switched to Windows 7 and used the modded drivers?
Can I still use this "addreg" settings tweaker for various games even without custom drivers? I'm running a Core 2 Duo T5270 @ 1.40 Ghz w/ 2.00 Gb of RAM, and I'm very prudent about which processes and services I allow Windows to run. I'm not concerned that Windows 7 would perform less optimally due to its requirements as an OS, I'm just curious if installing a brand new OS over what I have now would be worth it for the modded drivers.
