Hey there! I totally appreciate both of your answers, as hearing from people with some experience in the matter is quite reassuring. Fortunately, I have a 250 Gb harddrive in this laptop, so dual-booting is a step I'm not afraid to take. I'll look into the articles on resizing my partitions and such, so that hopefully I can have as easy a time as possible.
