Well, solved my own problem after searching through the older threads.
I moved the igdlh64.inf file from the root of the Sigma drivers
directory to the Graphics\ subdirectory. Automatic installation still
failed for an "Unknown Error", but the manual installation (Device
Manager -> Update Driver) worked like a charm. Starcraft II is a
little closer to playable now, and several other games seem to perform
a good deal better as well.
