oh and tribaljet has a point on bigger VRAM doesnt mean performance...
before go and buy a somewhat 1GB GDDR5 with the thought "oh, 1gb GDDR5, more
power"..rubbish....
most GPU nowadays cant handle 1gb VRAM yet...and i mean the mid range
cards..
basic for GPU buying guide, make sure the GPU can support the extra VRAM...

for example..the HD 5670 / GT240 with 1gb GDDR5 is a rubbish product juz for
commercial act / brag from the company...
as in fact their GPU cant produce enough power to process that much..
except for HD 4870, 4870 x 2, GT460, GT 480, etc..etc...which IS a high end
GPU which can in fact can support and give boost when pair up with 1gb or
more VRAM...
