It just needs to bypass the security at startup, so the speed would not be an issue.
@espio: If I could, I would never touch that shitty tech that is AA, I would run my games with the highest res I could without that. AA is a faulty tech right from its creation :( Some games just need high res, and allied with draw distance makes for a world of difference on some games.
