I'm looking for a tool that gives me the orange settings ;) and that
does them in a safe way.

Can you be a little more detailed? I mean, just go to realtek control
panel, in the information menu there's the chipset. If you don't have
the control panel, RUN to realtek website, download and install the
latest drivers. Realtek is possibly the fastest manufacturer to deploy
drivers, like 1 a month or more. Is it ALC260, ALC650, ALC888, etc?
Some time ago I used a laptop with a Realtek ALC888, and the sound
wasn't so bad as I expected, but still a 50$ external soundcard still
beats it by far :)

WASAPI is meant to be a bit-matched playback output, meaning that when
an app is outputting through WASAPI, all other sounds will be muted,
as they degrade audio quality. WASAPI is meant for music only, or HQ/
HD video. But depending on the sound signature of your chipset and
your speakers, the sound might seem a little cold, meaning the
frequency response is flat, which is something that can be useful for
studio work but not for regular listening.
