Last time I played it, OpenAL wasn't an option yet. I always recommend OpenAL for most users, as well as me when using my DAC instead of x- fi. How's the quality of the OpenAL renderer? And I do understand you using FMOD instead of the default audio renderer, it was kinda finnicky :)
