Some tests were made by someone and apparently, some (or most) of the games
fared better on WINE than on Win7. I forgot where I've read the article.

IMHO the problem with Linux is the bloated xserver, which I hope will be
replaced with Wayland soon. Also, the fact that a lot of the drivers aren't
"high quality". Other than that, WINE is an awesome project. It runs
everything on full speed (theoretically) because it doesn't emulate.
