Hello Lantrans. I am having some problems re-phrasing a few sentences (I
don't really like any of the translator's suggestions) in a translation I am
revising. Although the French is quite simple, the English translation
sounds somewhat ambiguous. I would appreciate your opinions or any
suggestions. The context is a software localization ad describing the
company's services. The phrases in ** are what (I think) needs to be
rephrased (I may be wrong). I have supplied the original French sentences.
1) We offer the localization of: Display files and their formats, including
words, phrases and other elements; *fields containing multiple values (des
champs valeurs multiples)*; *fields containing multiple meanings (des
champs significations multiples); abbreviations...
2) (Original) Une srie de statistiques dtailles, rsultant du travail de
localisation effectu, est fournie la livraison du projet.
(Translation) A series of detailed statistics, *compiled after a
localization project has been completed*, is supplied upon delivery (of the
project).
Thanks for helping me out.
