Hi Matt,
Beyond having the icon view maps doing a slide show on the bottom of
a monitor, I like setting up the device list to just show the down
devices. If all of the maps are only stretched to half the screen,
the device list will be visible above them (and it doesn't rotate as
part of the slideshow). If you sort the device list by the first
column, it will show the unacknowledged first and the acknowledged
(but still down) below that.
If you just show the down that aren't acknowledged you risk
overlooking the status of the acknowledged ones.

We currently use Intermapper for the majority of the monitoring in our
organization. We use the device list heavily and it's become an
inconvenience for us to filter through multiple acknowledged icons to
find real alerts. It would be useful for us if we could have the
acknowledged icons not show up on the device list. Can we submit a
change request for this action or can we purchase a custom update that
will adjust this for us? Has anyone else experienced a similar
difficulty with this feature?
