I requested this feature in a slightly different form not so long time ago as well. I asked if the devices from different maps could be added into a logical group for management purposes, for example, mass ACK or in your case mass notification change. Put my name down for that feature as well.

Actually, I'd like to be able to do lots of things from the device list: Managing/changing notifications, changing probe type, changing poll interval, etc. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to do anything we can do from the individual maps (with the except moving devices around a map, of course). Please consider this a feature request. It would GREATLY enhance Intermapper's ability to manage large numbers of devices... Please consider this an official request for product enhancement! [cid:[email protected]] James P. (over 300 routers, switches, servers, etc..) I would like to set up notifications for all these devices, but going to each map (we have over two dozen "host group" maps that we drill down through a main map) is very slow and tedius. I thought by going to the DEVICE LIST, which shows all devices across all maps, and click the Notifier View I could set up the notifiers that way. Unfortunately, when I tried to check off the notifier boxes, it would not work. The Notifier List view in the DEVICE LIST window appears to be read only. Is this a bug, or was it just designed this way? This would be very useful I believe. Does any else have a work-around? Thanks!
