enhancements to the web interface.

Kevin,

Having been on-borad with IM & Dartware since around '97-98, I would like to point out 2 things:

1: I agree that it's getting time to 'update' the webinterface - and popular functionalities like AJAX and the likes, seems like a powerful way to go. If you're on a a Mac, I guess the best example is Safari's 'Inspect Element' window. It's Completely done in HTML & AJAX, as a proof of concept of what is possible.

2: I was there back in the days where the webinterface was a simple GIF shown on a page. Suggestions of using a clickable map on the GIF got implementet, and have evolved since. The key here is to make constructive and thought-through feedback. I think most of my feedback to Dartware has been implementet - unless Rick & crew has argued it down in a good way. So don't hold back, think it over and submit it. I'm sure it will be put on a list, although the priorities might not make it appear in the next release.

One good example, though, of a need of upgraded webserver functionality, is my Google Maps 'integration' some years back now. It could really make good use of more dynamic access to the data behind the scene.

All the best,

    Jakob Peterhänsel
