I can't speak for the iPhone users. We have corporate customers who live and die with their Blackberry's. The ability to run multiple live apps and sessions in background even while on the phone, means that mobile engineers could have all their maps open and constantly updating. Support on Blackberry will have will provide real penetration in to corporate markets.
The bottom line is with the new Google phone, the Blackberry and other mobile devices, IM-R needs to cut the cord. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Randy Millsop Sent: Monday, September 29, 2008 10:02 AM To: InterMapper Discussion Subject: Re: [IM-Talk] product request IM-R for iPhone? If I were prioritizing functionality for an iPhone app, the first thing I'd want to do is Acknowledge down devices. Right now, I VNC back to a desktop. As iPhone apps get more functional, I carry my laptop less! Sending an Ack via the web interface would be a HUGE benefit.
