As far as I am concerned, traits, as proposed in the RFC[1], are implemented and it would be possible to merge them in. However, as far as I remember, there was no consensus on several details of this proposal. So, what I can do is to ask you guys to reread the proposal and checkout a copy from [2] to look for instance at the test cases, and tell me what you don't like.
