Yes. If you look at logcat after such a failed attempt to run, there will hopefully be some IOIO-related records there that might shed more light. If I had to guess, I'd say that there's a good chance that you have a software/firmware version mismatch, i.e. that you're running V4.x software against a V3.x firmware or similar.
