I recently received a IOIO OTG and a Bluetooth USB Dongle from Seeedstudio,
powered it up and paired the BT with my Android phone with no problem. I
even ran my Android app that communicated via BT to the IOIO and controlled
the IOIO inputs/output perfectly, did a little testing, then powered
everything down and put it away. I come back a few day later to do some
more testing but now BT seems to have quit working. I deleted the BT
pairing in my phone and was going to repair and try again, but now I cannot
see the BT dongle (tried from my Android phone, MacbookPro and a PC)
nothing can see the BT on the IOIO. The LED on BT dongle lights up when I
plug it in, so it has some life in it.

I had experimented with some different powering solution for the IOIO (ie,
12v(1.5A), 9V(1A), 5V etc) prior to the BT not working so I began to
suspect the issue was the IOIO, that maybe I had damaged something while
working out powering. So I connected the IOIO to my MacBookPro and ran
IOIODude from the command line. I can read the bootloader while shorting
the boot/grd pins and I can read the application while not in bootloader
mode, so the IOIO seems to be fine.

So finally my question (sorry it took three paragraphs to get here). It
seems strange that the BT dongle would just quit working after one use (but
not unheard of). Any suggestion on additional testing for the BT Dongle?
Also what other diagnostics can I run on the IOIO to test it out fully? For
example I tried to use the Android App "IOIO Hardware" but it does not find
the IOIO when connected via a OTG cable.
