I definitely have plans for adding proper support for Android Studio, now that it is the recommended development environment. Until I do, if you're not super confident in Java / Android development, you're asking for trouble by not using Eclipse. If you insist you can try generating the JARs yourself by exporting from Eclipse using the existing projects.
