Have you tried under Ion started in a "clean" X. It could be that IceWM sets some property that is no longer valid under Ion and that gnome-moz-remote uses if it exists. For example, it could be trying to use some leftover NetWM window list. Although the NetWM spec has methods to find out what properties the currently running WM actually supports, some apps (e.g. MPlayer) don't do the check. I have absolutely no problems with gnome-moz-remote. -- Tuomo
