I read gnome-moz-remote's source code, and found that your analysis is
fully correct. You're quite good at guessing :)

Yes, I've filed #254222 now. But I suspect that the maintainer might
regard this as a bug in gnome-moz-remote. I think the property name
change was made so that one can run Firefox and regular Mozilla at the
same time or something.
